1. Choose right cleaning program

There is many ways destroy and try to clean things wrong way. It is only one right way to do it! That is why all products have their own tags and symbols.

Registered symbols - what they mean?

Underlining under the symbol means not wrinkle or gentle material and very sensitive care. If your machine does not have for example special not wrinkle -materials programme put less laundry in the washing machine than usually.

Letters in the symbol are information for laundry workers. Every symbol has its own meaning: what kind liquid and solvent can use and how high temperature is allowed. Underline below the symbol means carefully or gentle. Some shops are selling dry-cleaning bags. These do not really clean your garment but gives nice fresh smell in your clothes.

If these marks and tags are with colour it means:

GREEN = You can clean it normally
YELLOW = Gentle / careful cleaning
RED = Not allowed

You will clean the fabric easier depending how fast you can act right after accident. Stains should remove as fresh as possible before it absorb into the fibre and get dry.

Before removing the stain try identify it, is it oil, fruit, wine…

2b. about stain removing

Before stain removing remember look at the textiles information tags: material, what kind wash, temperature etc.

Start always more sensitive and mild methods to the stronger and harder methods. Before to start remove the stain try influence first somewhere invisible place in the textile.

Avoid to rubbing and scouring.
Don't use hot water for unknown stains because it can fasten even harder.
Freeze thick stains (chewing gum, resin) and scrape away as much as possible of the stain.


Different stains need different handling. It is good to have different kind of the stain remover products at home just for the accidental cases. Stain remover products can buy for example:

-Parone Design use and sell products which are for half professional use but you can use these easy at home too. First we   have tell you how to use these products. You can allso buy normal not so strong stain remover products from your laundry, stores or shops.


-Pharmacy you can buy ammoniac solution (use 10% ammoniac liquid: 1ts/2dl cold water), citric acid (3ts/2dl tepid water, trichlorainethylen and acetone.


-gas stations and hardware stores are selling turpentine, heawypetrols, and denatureted sprit.


-cleaning product with entsymes is for example dish liquid.

If you are not sure what to do, take the textile to the laundry and tell the worker what stain disturbed you, what you think it is and what you already had tried to do to the stain.

1. Dish drops + water (1/2h) ->2.wash with powder including entsymes. -> 3. Washing petrol /stain remover. ->4. Denatureted sprit ->5.wash.

skin moisuring, skin make up colours, fet of the natural skin

1. Washing petrol / stain remover. ->2. mild water with soap and little ammonium

ice-cream

1.dish drops + water (1/2h)->2.rinsing with water 40ºc .-> 3.stain remover or washing petrol.->4.old stain with washing soap including entsymes.

cacao

1.dish drops+water (1/2h)->2.rinsing with warm water 40ºc .-> 3.stain remover /washing petrol.->4.old stain with washing product including entsymes.

coffee

Fresh:
2. Cold water ->2.wash with washing product including entsymes.
Old:
1. Soaking 1/2t water with dish drops->2. Wash with cleaning product with whitening items->3.whitening if allowed.

coffee + cream

fresh:
2. Cold water->2.wash with washing product including whitening elements + stain salt ->3. Whitening if allowed.
old:
1. Dish drops + water (1/2h) ->2.rinsing with warm water 40ºc. ->3. Wash with washing soap including entsymes ->3.whitening if allowed.

sauce (fatty)

1. Stain remower/trichloraletylen/washing petrol. 2. Soap water with ammon. 3. Normal wash.

street- and road dirty

1. When dry brush the textile.
2. Wash whitening soap/cleaning powder. 3. Stain remover / hand cleaner: e.g. Dygon.

shoes shining products

1. Washing petrol / stain remover.2.mild soap water + ammonium 3. Denatureted sprit / trichloroethylen.

ketchup

1. Mild water + ammonium. Wash with washing product including whitening elements. 2. Dygon hand cleaning product etc.

ballpoint pen

1. Stain remover/washing petrol/perfume, Eau de Cologna or 4711 -après rassage. 2. Aseton.3. Whitening if allowed.

nail vernissa

1nail vernissa remover. 2. Acetone (not for example. Acetate fibres) 3. If some colour is left, use denatureted sprit.

glue

-water based:
1mild water, wash cleaning product including entsymes.
- Plastic based:
1. Acetone.
-two component:
1. impossible to remove

Liquors, like crème de menthe, -banana, etc.

Latex:

mayonnaise, oil sauce

Cotton
1. As fresh, cleaning product what includes lipasentsymes, like dish drops, normal wash2. As old pre / help wash product + normal wash. Whitening if allowed.
Synthetic fibres
1. Stain remover/mineral turpetin/trichloralethylen. Normal wash with cleaning product include entsymes/mild soap water + ammonium.

berries and berries juice

1. Mild water+dish drops+little ammonium.

make up cream (colored) and natural fet of the skin

resin

bicycle oil / grease

carrot

beetroot, red cappage

1. as fresh: dish drops+hot water.2. Wash cleaning product with whitening items + stain salt.

red wine

as fresh
1. Put salt on the wet red wine satin and let absorb. 2. dish drops, rinse.
as old
2. Pre wash or help wash/soaking with cleaning product with entsymes items. Wash with cleaning product with whitening elements +stain salt.
3. Whitening if allowed.
4. pour same wine but white on the stain, let absorb while, after this do as removing a fresh red wine stain.

Chewing gum

1. Freeze. 2. Scrape. 3. Trichloroethylen 4. normal wash

powder

1. Brush.
2. Mild soap water.
3. Trichloroethylen.

fet, oil, butter

1. Stain remover/mineral turpetin/trichloralethylen. 2. Mild soap water. 3. Normal wash.

grass

1. Denatured sprit, wash cleaning product with entsymes.
2. Whitening if allowed.

Rust

1. oksaali- acid + warm water. Rinse. Normal wash.

mustard

1. Mild water + machine dish drops
2. As old help / pre wash product. Wash cleaning product having entsymes.

Stearin

White stain in cotton or wool
1. Freeze 2.scrape very gentle.
3. Soft paper + ironing 4. Wash with dish drops 5. Trichloral ethylene 5. Normal wash.
Man made fibres and colored stain
1. Freeze 2.scrape very gentle. Do not try taking all off! 3. Wash with dish drops 4. Trichloral ethylene /mineral turpentine/stain remover 5.normal wash.

schooled

1. Pre washes with liquid soap .2.wash with cleaning product with entsymes.
3. Trichloral ethylene.

Stickers glue

1. Denatureted sprit/ mineral turpentine/stain remover.

tea
